Shirecare was founded in 2017 by Martin Burrows (Managing Director) and Daniel Butler (Registered Care Manager). Both Martin and Daniel have vast amounts of experience working in management positions from various industries, including Health and Safety, Architecture and the care sector. After working together building another company from scratch, Martin and Daniel decided that they would build their own homecare company, built to their own set of values, with employee job satisfaction at the very top of their list.

During Shirecares 5 years in operation, we have managed to grow to become the largest independent care company within Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We have been able to perform this magnificent achievement, because we have been able to build an amazing, highly skilled, dedicated staff team, who always give their all to ensure our clients needs always met.

Shirecare believe all staff members should have a voice and should be able to use it any time they like. We offer a truly open door policy and actively encourage every member of the Shirecare team to pop in for a chat and a cuppa whenever they feel like it.
